how can I get to a YES?

A change I've made that is bringing new, unexpected joy, is to ask myself "How can I get to a YES?" when I'm initially drawn to 'NO.' Change is tough!

By clearly articulating what criteria I need to say 'YES,' new opportunities, experiences and relationships have opened up and formed into beautiful, beautiful joy within my heart. I've also found this approach will end up supporting the things I need to say 'NO' to and then I peacefully move on.

It's aligned to simplifying for me - which isn't easy or quick - what I need in order to be happy with 'YES.' It brings about new ways of thinking and creative problem-solving and profound amounts of collaboration.

I first learned about this idea a few years ago when I was taught to use 'yes, if' to outline boundaries a team needed in order to make adjustments to their work.

I dislike saying 'NO' to unknown potential and things that I'm truly interested in doing, like travel, but initially struggled to see solutions given the small frame of reference I was using. By making this shift, I've found so many delightful things while eliminating noise.
